House cleaning service (sometimes-called maid service) varies in cost according to frequency of service, condition, and size of home. Prices are generally based either on the number of rooms, the square footage or by the hour.

• One-time cleaning of a 900-square foot two-bedroom apartment with five rooms, costs $74-$200. A 1,300 square-foot single-story home with seven rooms runs $95-$300. A 2,200 two-story three-bedroom home with nine rooms averages $149-$400.

• Biweekly cleaning of the same five-room apartment costs $59-$124, the seven-room single-story home runs $79-$150, and the larger nine-room two-story home costs $104-$180.

3Free parking is not available in my complex. Is this parking fee added to the cost of my cleaning?
Yes. Instances where we are required to pay for parking, this fee is added to the total cost for your cleaning.
4Is a tip included in my cleaning costs?
No. Our pricing does not include tips or gratuity.
5Am I expected to tip my cleaning crew?
While your cleaning crew will definitely appreciate any gratuity for a job well done, it is not required.
6I have decided that I want to tip my cleaning crew. What amount is customary?
While there is no magic number, those who tip generally give $5.00 - $20.00 per cleaner.
7Do you offer discounts for regular cleanings?
Yes. We offer discounts for weekly, biweekly, and triweekly services.

1When scheduling my appointment online, when will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged when your cleaning crew arrives and conducts a brief walk through of your home. This walk through helps ensure that the size and condition of your home matches the information submitted in your online order. Once your card is charged, a receipt will be sent to you via email for your records. **Note** For first time customer we sometimes place a temporary hold in the amount of the cleaning, the morning of the service in order to verify proof of funds. This hold is NOT a charge and usually falls off within 24 hours.
2How shall I pay for my cleaning?
We are a credit card only company. Using a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card.
3What is your refund policy?
We do not provide refunds; we will do everything in our power to provide you with the best cleaning experience possible. If for any reason you are unhappy, just call or send us an email within 48 hours of your service and we will send someone out to make things right. That is our promise and commitment to you.

Yes. We run detailed background and reference checks of each employee before they can join our team.
2How do I know I can trust your cleaners? Is Fresh Scent Cleaning Services Bonded and Insured?
Yes, you can trust our cleaners. We are a legitimate Company. We are fully Licensed, Bonded, and Insured.

Cleaning Products

1Do I need to provide any of the equipment or supplies?
No. We bring everything needed to provide you with a great cleaning experience.
2What type of products do you use?
We use a combination of biodegradable green cleaning.
3What if I have specific products that I would like your cleaning staff to use, Can I provide them?
These decisions are made on a case by case basis; we can more than likely accommodate your needs.

Service Related Questions

1Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No. Although it is not required, if it is your first cleaning appointment, it is generally a good idea to be present when the cleaning crew arrives so you can provide them with a walkthrough of your home. Once your cleaning is complete, it is also a good idea to walk-through again in order to ensure everything is to your satisfaction.
2How many cleaners can I expect to perform the cleaning?
We typically send 1 or 2 cleaners to each job depending the size of the home to be cleaned.
3Can my cleaners move or lift any furniture?
Unfortunately, due to insurance restrictions, none of our cleaners are allowed to move or lift any furniture.
4Will my cleaning team be able to reach really high windows and cobwebs that may require a ladder?
No. Due to Insurance restrictions our cleaners are not allowed to stand on any ladders, stepping stools, or furniture. However, they do carry dusting poles, which will enable them to reach an additional 3 – 5 feet.
5Do you guarantee a day and the time for my house cleaning day?
Yes. Once the appointment is set, your time and date is set.
6What should I do with my pets during the house cleaning?
Put them up out of the cleaner’s way.
7What should I do about my Security/ Alarm System on the house cleaning day?
Either leave it off or give our company the code.

Office and Commercial Cleaning

1How can I get a quote for cleaning My Office or Commercial Location?
You can either call our office (770) 224-0821 or fill out the quote form on our commercial cleaning page. Once we have that information, a Fresh Scent representative will contact you within 24 hours to provide you with a ballpark estimate. If the estimate sounds good, we will schedule a short site visit in order to finalize the quote.
2Do you require any contracts for reoccurring commercial cleaning services?
Yes. Reoccurring commercial cleaning services require a six-month commitment, after using our services for a 30-day trial period.
